Wesleyan Potters - Wesleyan Potters is a non-profit cooperative guild founded in 1948 to promote the learning and development of skills in crafts, located in Middletown, Connecticut. Classes are held year-round with lectures, exhibits, demonstrations and films scheduled as special events with visiting craftsmen conducting workshops and artists' critiques. Qualified teachers give classes in our well-equiped studios. FOUR AND EIGHT HARNESS WEAVING

The beginner is introduced to weaving by designing a warp, dressing a loom, learning simple drafting and experimenting with weaves, colors and yarns. The intermediate student receives individualized instruction and is encouraged to explore the diversity of the craft, using either a four or eight-harness loom. Materials extra. Studio hours, called bench time, are offered to students at no extra charge, but students must call ahead to be sure the studio is available.

Saturday's 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon
