Our fun and highly requested Clay Date night is back!

Whether you are flying solo, a couple in love, or a couple of friends, our clay date night is a great opportunity to let loose, get creative, and just have some fun learning how to throw on a wheel or learn the basics of hand-building.

Did we mention there will be wine?

  • Participants must be 21+
  • All food, drink and materials will be provided
  • No prior experience necessary

If you have always wanted to try throwing on a wheel or explore basic hand-building techniques but are not sure you want to commit to a 9-week class, then this event is perfect for you!

If you make a piece you love, we will trim it for you, fire it with your choice of glaze and have it ready for pickup in about four weeks. One finished piece per participant is included with the class fee, any additional is $10 per piece. 

  • No open-toed shoes are permitted.
  • Wear clothes that you are willing to get dirty.
  • Please bring something to tie back long hair.

 

Free Parking is available in the lot at the rear of the building and can be accessed from Birdsey Ave.

Wesleyan Potters is a non-profit cooperative guild formed in 1948 to promote the learning and development of skill in crafts. Classes are held year-round along with lectures, exhibits, demonstrations, workshops, and videos. Qualified instructors present classes in well-equipped studios for adults, teens, and children.
